Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer & Novak Djokovic are three of the best tennis players the world has ever seen. If you are a tennis fan (I'm not), you would have been very fortunate to see these three greats all at the peak of their abilities all playing at the same time. Kinda like Messi & Ronaldo, but it's more of a debate with these three because, although I love Ronaldo, Messi is obviously clear. A few years ago at Wimbledon, they were all competing to take that #1 spot on the same day. Three of the best tennis players in the world are all there at once. Yet, if you watched them warm up, each one of them had a completely different approach. Djokovic is laser-focused. Almost robot-like. Not speaking to anybody. Nadal was huffing and puffing and getting a sweat on, looking like he was super locked in. Biceps bulging. Sprinting up and down the pitch. Federer was laughing, trying trick shots and finessing the ball to his warm-up partner. The three best players in the world are all doing different things and having different ways of getting in the zone. How Does This Relate To You? It has become very popular online for people to spout all of the things you HAVE to be doing in your life. Whether that be the food bro's telling you about carnivore, the gym bro's arguing about strength and exercises and optimal stuff, and the business bro's telling you what business you should run, how to scale etc. But the tennis metaphor goes to show that there are numerous ways to reach the top of the mountain. The majority of the noise you hear online is simply what worked for someone else, and it's no wonder they feel so strongly opinionated about it because, well... It worked for them! However, in reality...
There are generalities and fundamentals, of course. For example, Novak, Nadal & Federer could all hit a tennis ball and were in some sort of good shape. But the way they do everything else is completely different. The same goes for you. I am actively trying to improve my business, my health, my life and my clients' businesses based on feedback rather than noise on the internet or plugging and playing the same systems. I suggest you try to do the same. Webinar tonight for a client, will report the results back tomorrow. To your success, Charlie McCormack
